Arthur Georgopoulos began his career with just one borrowed roll of denim and little cutting equipment. With these he created a fab debut label "Usual Suspects". It was four years in the making, but fuel enough to feed Georgopolos second flaming venture "Provocator". For his latest label the designer felt the urge to create a new denim brand that not only reflected a strong flair for design, but represented a certain radical yet unpretentious philosophy.
Consequently, Provocator was born, refusing to follow trends, and instead delivering a variety of styles for individual wearers. All Provocator denim id finished in-house, providing the opportunity to experiment in the cutting, washing and piecing together of fabric, hence developing a new look all the time.
Georgopoulos took various designing tips from his mother, also a designer [she suggested he walk the wilder side and use fashion as camouflage or uniform depending on what the occasion call for]. "I work with love and what I do, and love is pain. I want to believe I have completed my cosmos-theroy and develop a sense of individual [for the to] stand out from the crowd.”
